Welcome to Josie Empowerment by May Rosenlund
These terms of service outline the rules and regulations for the use of this Website.
By accessing this website we assume you accept these terms of service in full. Do not continue to use this website if you do not accept all of the terms of service stated on this page.
Your purchase of courses or sessions indicates your commitment to participate in the process and follow through to its conclusion. However, I also understand that unexpected events can happen. In addition to the general guidelines outlined below, refunds and cancellations will be considered on an individual basis, at the discretion of May Rosenlund. I ask the Client to be committed and faithful, and I commit to offering grace when needed.
In general these guidelines apply for course session refunds and cancellations:
The Client may cancel an order within 24 hours of purchasing and request a refund. The refund will be issued, minus any non-refundable fees charged to May Rosenlund by Paypal or other merchant services. To cancel an order, send your request to [email protected]
The following applies for requesting a refund after a course has begun. Client must email [email protected] to request a refund:
For Group Sessions: May Rosenlund will schedule the online course Group Sessions in advance to allow for the Client to schedule and commit to those sessions. Any sessions that the Client attends will be considered services rendered and products received. Therefore, no refunds can be given for any attended sessions. However, if the Client wishes to request a refund on any remaining sessions, May Rosenlund may consider a refund according to the following: The total price of the course will be divided by the number of sessions in the course and then prorated for a refund amount. If the refund is approved, the Client may then be refunded based on the individual cost of any unattended sessions only. The Client may also choose wait until the next Group Session course begins and resume the Course at that time instead of obtaining a refund, if the Client so wishes to do so.
For Private Sessions: Once May Rosenlund has scheduled private sessions with the Client, they are considered set appointments. However, if necessary, the Client may request to reschedule a session, if they give at least 24 hours advance notice.
Any missed sessions or cancelled sessions with less than 24 hours advance notice will be forfeited.
If unexpected circumstances prevent the Client from completing all of their scheduled sessions, then the Client may request a refund for the amount pertaining to the remaining sessions. If approved, the refund will be issued, minus any fees as noted above.
Please include your name, payment invoice information, and the number of unattended courses in your request.

Meditation Disclaimer –
Every individual has a unique journey and unique experiences in their lifetime. The benefits of meditation are different in each person attending meditation. Meditation has changed my life and so many others for the better because we chose to practice it often.
All the services and/or products sold on this site are powerful tools to assist you with further healing. All of which I have experienced first hand, before turning them into services/products.
I am a meditation practitioner, not a medical or mental health professional. The intent of the meditation services is to make these techniques and ideas available to others to be used as tools to help them benefit from starting or continuing their own meditation practice. Nothing contained in these exercises, or in conjunction with Josie Barrett, should be taken as medical or psychological advice. If you have any questions about how the use of these exercises could impact an existing mental or physical condition, please consult your personal health care provider before using any exercises.
Meditation is generally considered to be safe for healthy people.
Research suggests that practicing meditation may improve your physical and mental health.
Don’t use meditation to replace conventional care or as a reason to postpone seeing a health care provider about a medical issue.
There have been rare reports that meditation could cause or worsen symptoms in people with certain psychiatric problems like anxiety and depression. People with existing mental health conditions should speak with their medical/health care providers before starting a meditative practice.
Many of my materials, programs and workshops contribute to wellness but they are not intended to replace medical diagnosis and treatment. DO NOT listen to audio-guidance educational materials while driving or operating heavy machinery. If you have a tendency towards seizures, auditory disorders, or adverse mental conditions, consult your medical/health care provider BEFORE you listen to any audio-guidance educational materials. In the unlikely event that you experience any unusual physical or mental discomfort, immediately discontinue use. If necessary, seek medical attention.
All product warranties whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose are disclaimed.
BECAUSE THE EFFECTIVE BENEFITS OF EDUCATIONAL EXERCISES, MATERIALS, WORKSHOPS, AND PROGRAMS DEPEND UPON AN INDIVIDUAL’S PERSONAL PRACTICE AND ASSIMILATION OF THE CONTENT, ALL WARRANTIES FOR THE PERSONAL USE OF AUDIO-GUIDANCE EDUCATIONAL EXERCISES, MATERIALS, WORKSHOPS, AND PROGRAMS, WHETHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE ARE HEREBY DISCLAIMED.
